Write render samples in the output name

Hi,

I use C4D Tokens and Cineversity tokens for my outputs and I would like to add the render samples appended in the name of the output. A bit like what you do when exporting a screenshot from IPR as text overlay.

Let's say for instance that I wanted the project name with the sampling numbers appended.

$prj_<samples_AA>/<samples_diffuse>/<samples_Specular>/<samples_Transmission>/<samples_SSS>/<samples_Volume Indirect>

Returns: ProjectName_2/2/2/2/2/0

Is this possible at all?

First of all, slashes ('/') are not allowed in a file name, so it would be something like ProjectName_2-2-2-2-2-0. But unfortunately it's not possible at the moment, there are no custom arnold specific tokens can be used in the file name. The SDK however allow us to register custom tokens, so this could be a nice future enhancement.

I guess I could write it down on the take name too for now.
