I'm an Arnold user of Cinema4d.

When you use the environment option to show light.

When saved as a png file, the light is stored invisible.

Is there a way to save light as a PNG file without a background?

If you use an Arnold Volume Box instead of Environment and then have a volume AOV on your render you can add the light in post.
