screen-shot-2018-01-24-at-24122-pm.pngscreen-shot-2018-01-24-at-24111-pm.pngHi, please see attached, darker image is a render, the lighter one, screenshot from the IPR-I've never experienced this, I can not figure out why the render is darker/more saturated than the IPR render, does anyone here have an explanation for me,? thank you
Seems like a color space mismatch. Please check the Display Color Profile in Edit > Preferences... > View and if the color profile is enabled in the Picture Viewer:
It has no effect on the snapshot take from the IPR window because it is saved as an sRGB image, however it has effect on the rendered image, so this would explain the difference.
OK, thankyou-was is a bit concerning, is that I've made many renders without any issue, except for now, I changed nothing, but will check, thank you for your time
If that does not explain the issue, and it's specific only to this scene, then just send me the scene, so I can take a look.
Ok, thank you, but my model is 8.9 msgs, need to try to reduce the size, also incudedscreen shot, I understand that the IPR is rob, but it is much lightscreen-shot-2018-01-24-at-24122-pm.pnger than render, thxtumor-cell-review.zipn
I have found the reason why the image in the Picture Viewer is darker. Please go to the Project Settings and enable Linear Workflow.
Hi Peter, thanks, brilliant!!! I was thinking of checking out the "linear workflow" check box, then got distracted-thank you for catching this, much obliged-CZ
Hi, I´m having the same issue.
Recently I jumped from R20 to 24 and started having the same problem. The IPR renders much lighter than the final render. The problem lies at the IPR on S24 because the final image looks darker in After Effects and Photoshop, and R20 renders the scene exactly the same (darker).
This is what I tried so far:
- Deactivating/activating Linear workflow in the project settings
- Changing the Display color profile at Viewport Display in Preferences
- Activate/deactivate Enable color profile in the Picture viewer.
Could be the same problem in S24 which was reported here: https://answers.arnoldrenderer.com/questions/33360/brightness-bug.html
