Mesh light disappears behind transparent plane

Hi, I want to have a visible spherical light behind a glass/transparent object. As I understand, only mesh lights can be visible. So I created a sphere and connected it to an Arnold mesh light. So far so good. But when I add a plane with a transparent material in front if it, it disappears.

Here is a visible mesh light next to a red sphere:

Now a plane with a green tinted transparent material is placed in front:

The light disappears. Is it possible to keep the light visible?

I just fixed this a couple of days ago, it has not been released yet. Here's a wip build which you can try:
