Adjusting light mixer parameters resets IPR progress

I'm able to get the light mixer to function properly and a new scene, but I'm having trouble in a much larger project file. The IPR will almost always restart when I adjust my light mixer lights. I tried soloing a few objects/lights in my scene which made it a slightly more stable.

I should mention that regardless if I'm using the light mixer my IPR will automatically refresh without any user input about 20% of the time. I'm not sure if that is typical behavior or not, I've kind of just dealt with it.

There is a known issue in C4DtoA 3.3.0, when doing frequent changes (e.g. moving the slider quickly), then post processing can take a long time. You see indication of post processing in the status bar in this case:

Maybe that's what you are seeing? Or does the render actually restarts? If so, would it be possible to send me your scene where the issue can be reliably reproduced?

No, it's not a typical behavior. By no user input you mean doing absolutely nothing, or do you interact with the scene (e.g. changing selection in the object tree, etc.)? Again, would it be possible to send me your scene?

Usually I'll be doing nothing, like hands off my mouse, waiting for the render to resolve. Most of the time I'm on my other monitor browsing the internet and it will randomly restart. Unfortunately I cant send my current scene file, but I will definitely try and replicate it and send the scene file your way. Is it possible that other plugins/scripts may be conflicting with arnold, causing it to re-export the scene?

Do you have maybe auto-save enabled? I remember an issue with auto-save triggering a restart in a very specific case (IPR set to a camera different from the viewport). Maybe it's something similar.

I do have auto-save enabled, and I do sometimes set my IPR to a different camera. I'll changes those things and keep tabs on how it behaves. thanks!

I did notice that status bar, but no the render actually restarts.
