Abstract Iridescent Quantum Chip Need Help ASAP!

circuit_board.c4d.zip

Hi Guys

I would like your support in producing the abstract chip as I am new to Arnold. What I am interested in is how to apply same colour effects of the top and bottom chip. At the bottom there is a silicon geometric shapes on it and secondly, the top square has mixed coloured background on it, which I don't know how to do this.

The top square is the most import thing right know if you don't have time to do the bottom square.

What are the Appropriate values for:

1) Thin Film IOR

2) Ray Depth

3) Dispersion ABB

4) Caustic

5) Noise Scale

This is the image that I would like to get inspiration from.

Maybe the person had found the image of the Intel's wafer litho image of the cpu.

Thank you,

Ben

It might be better to use a ramp_rgb as thin_film is a bit harder to control in this case. The rest that you listed are more for transparent surfaces. Scene file here (password: arnold).

You could also try a utility shader with color_mode -> UV. Hope that helps.
