Strange Motion Blur Artifacts from Particles!? [C4DtoA]

I'm getting extremely weird motion blur artifacts with these particles. I'm trying to accomplish convincing sparks. But the motion blur will randomly band random particles with others.

This looks like the motion keys of the particles aren't lining up (they are offset by one). Probably because in the bad frame a particle was just created or just destroyed. I'm not familiar with C4D, so can't tell you exactly why that's happening.

Is this X-Particles or other simulation? The plugin should follow particles by ids just fine in X-Particles, so it might be a bug. Could you please share the scene with us to check what's going on?
