Rendering SSS, Fog & Optix Imager causes CUDA error

So about a week ago i ran into an issue that caused a critical cuda error when i was rendering a scene with SSS, fog and denoiser imagers.

At first i thought it might be related to the gaussian filter type incompatability but setting the filter types to box didn't solve my issues either, not sure if i'm doing something wrong or this is just a bug.

I replicated this in a minimized teapot + hdri scene and attached some logs to it.

It's the fog shader.

For now you can just use a normal volume and create the same effect.

I thought so, also by normal volume are you referring to the volume atmosphere or the standard volume that you apply to a object?

I'm trying to create a downwards foggy sky effect that gets thinner towards the bottom which works kinda perfect by using the fog shaders origin, height and direction properties.

Modified code of the curve node, it runs on Z now, up down.
You can offset with a

and make the gradient sharper or smoother ( scaling it ) with t and tt.
