C4DtoA HDRI Blur

Is it possible to blur an HDRI in C4DtoA?

For example, if I have a highly reflective surface (let's say chrome), and am lighting my scene with an HDRI, it would be nice to be able to use a specific HDRI for lighting but blurring it so that a perfect mirror image of the HDRI doesn't appear in my reflective surface.

Obviously I could just make a copy of the HDRI texture and blur it in Photoshop, but I'm wondering if there is a way to do this directly in C4DtoA/with Arnold in general.

You could lower the Resolution of the Skydome light, but it probably wouldn't look very good closeup.

Adding Specular Roughness would be a more physically accurate way to do it.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it out.

Also wasn't exactly sure what you mean by adding specular roughness. Do you mean to the texture (hdri for example)?

**EDIT**

Haha nevermind, assuming you meant adding it to the reflective material. The answer was so obvious it was hiding in plain sight 😛

Thanks again!
