Imagers workflow

Hello guys

I'm trying to use the new Imager Lens Effects in katana. I followed the couple pieces of information from the doc but so far nothing. Can someone explain to me how to properly use it?

I was able to get the light mixer to work ish not even sure I did it right but it's doing something.

Thanks in advance

Do you mean it's not appearing in the UI or it's not rendering? Could you be more specific?

I take it this is the doc that you followed? Is it lacking any vital information?

Hello

Sorry, you are right. I can't see any difference in my render and I followed this document:

https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/A5KTN/Imagers

I created the NetworkMaterialCreate with the imagers_lens _effect node inside. After I guess, I need to assign it to something or maybe do something in the ArnoldGlobalSettings? what is the next step?

I was looking at the Maya side they have a post-panel inside the Arnold render monitor. We don't have this in katana?

Attached a simple example of how to set up an exposure imager node. This was done using the latest KtoA release and Katana 4.0: imager_exposure_simple.katana.zip

To apply imagers to the beauty, or primary, output, first you need to create an ArnoldOutputChannelDefine op for the primary, this allows you to attach your imager to the primary output. See the input parameter on ArnoldOutputChannelDefine in the example file. This way you can tell Arnold which imager chain to apply to a given output.
