softimage crashes ... all the time

Hi

Windows 10 x64 machine ... brand new i7 ... lots of ram ... softimage 2015 sp2 latest arnold ... crashes on almost everything ... adding material, adding light, preview ... just freezes

I know softimage is a dead end, but it would be nice to have some basic functionality

I'm using an i7 7th generation and I don't get the same problem. The problem however is finding the right tutorials. Did you find any good ones?

Work smooth here, but I'm struggling with Operator nodes, if someone can help, also I can't find a way to add the contour filter, only via cmdline:
SetValue "Passes.Arnold_Render_Options.output_filter", "contour"
