Hi, I've been using Arnold for a long time
A few days ago when I installed Maya 2022, when rendering, I encountered the error "unable to load nvidia nvml library"
I know the reason is that the graphics card driver is not updated
But the problem is that I just updated it yesterday.
You can also see the version of my driver in the picture
This looks like it could be a problematic driver install. Arnold expects the nvml executable to be in the windows driver store or %WINDOWS%/system32 folder, as per nvidia's recommendation. I've heard of a problem where the nvml tool will sometimes be installed elsewhere on windows 8.1 machines.
Running "where nvml.dll" in the console might give you some clues as to what's going on.
I would reinstall the graphic card driver, because that is what puts nvml.dll on your system. There should be several copies.
I did, but to no avail
I think installing the previous version of Maya and Arnold will solve the problem
Installing Maya, MtoA, or Arnold won't install nvml.dll
Is that dll still missing from the system?
