Arnold get stuck at last bucket when rendering Bifrost cached sims ramdomly

Hello I wonder if this is happenning to someone else , when I do a maya sequence render sometimes but a lot of times Maya get stuck rendering at the very last bucket, it happens in all my computers, doing a batch render seems to fix this issue but not everyone have a Arnold licence to do a batch...

Any thoughts ? I am scratching my head a bit here !

What's in that last bucket? Is there some part of the Bifrost sim in that bucket?

What version of MtoA? (if not the latest, then upgrade)

Anything in the Arnold log? Or does it just stop at a message like "95% done"?

I haven't any cases like that. Do I have to do anything special to repro? (I never use Bifrost)

Hello Stephen, I am running the latest version of Arnold, it does stops rendering one part of the fluid but sometimes it stops in empty spaces.. it is very strange...
It just stops at 99% done and Maya gets unresponsive!

It happens in all my computers, it all gets fixed if I run a Maya Batch it only happens with the render sequence command!

using Maya 2018.4 OSX 10.13.6 - rendering to render window - issue not fixed. Ranged from all multiprocessing buckets lost to one bucket lost.

Seems the buckets are rendered just not loaded to the image view. If I render a region on next render, the "buffer" is flushed and the image is updated with the missing buckets... but then that region more ofent than not has a missing bucket. Super annoying.

Hello! It's 2022 (time flies!) and I am having the same issues on two different machines (Intel and AMD) with Maya 2022.2. Any known workarounds yet? Thanks!
