Control multiple aiAreaLight exposure

Hi people.

How do I control the exposure of multiple aiAreaLight nodes?

I'd like to set the exposure of a set of area lights simultaneously - how do I do it?

I've tried this (see image) using various aiUserData, aiUtility, and aiFlat and a basic rand expression to test it out but no banana.

Maya 2022 / MtoA 4.2.2 / Arnold6.2.1.0

Thanks in advance for any help 🙂

Hi
Replace aiUserDataFloat with aiImagerExposure

Using an imager looks really cool 😉

What actually happens is MtoA discards the imager node and uses the current exposure value as the exposure of the area lights.
You could just use floatConstant instead

area light exposure is not linkable, which means Arnold does not support shaders connected to the exposure parameter.
