I am attempting to register a single user license with the Arnold License Manager on Linux Mint 20.
At first I could not install the license manager via Houdini as it would stop at 50% with an Installer Error. I believe this is due to the version of openssl which has been asked on here, although not answered.
I then downloaded the license manager and converted to deb (with Alien) and installed the following 3 files:
adlmapps24-24.0.7-0.x86_64.rpm
adskflexnetclient-11.16.0-0.x86_64.rpm
adsklicensinginstaller/adsklicensing11.1.0.5629-0-0.x86_64.rpm
The license manager now opens within Houdini but I am unable to register a license.
Is there another way of doing so?
The Arnold License Manager log (Help > About > Show Log) will show you the AdskLicensingInstHelper command that failed. That command can be run in a terminal
Sorry for my late reply.
The following is the log of what happens and fails after requesting my password:

I am not sure what to do as it appears that I am missing or it is not creating the file:
AdskLicensingService.data
AdskLicensingInstHelper is supposed to create those files if they do not already exist
Actually, it's the install that should create the .data file.
The .data and .sds are supposed to be portable eg not machine-specific.
Here's mine from a CentOS 7 VM:
Thank you for the replies and the files but it is still not working.
Here is the latest log:

I think I will have to change Linux distro in order to use Arnold with a license.
Thanks for all your help.
I have exactly the same problem on Windows 10. Were you able to fix it?
