Padding vs Volume Padding in Volume node?

what is the difference between "Padding" attribute and "Volume Padding" attribute in Volume node?

i'm sorry. i understand volume padding attribute now.

but, what is the role of "Padding" attribute in Volume node?

Which Arnold plugin are you using? Houdini? Maya? And which version?

Padding is a UI mistake that will be fixed.

Volume Padding is what you want to use, and it is described in the docs.
