How can I set up ACES in Cinema 4D - R21 on macOS

I just downloaded the ACES zip file and I'm currently having issues setting up ACES in cinema 4D - R21 on macOS, I'm wondering if someone is kind enough to guide me on how to install ACES properly on macOS. For reference, here's a screenshot below showing where I have issues with the Color manager dropdown.

• Download the OCIO config package: https://github.com/imageworks/OpenColorIO-Configs/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
• In Render Settings > Color Manager > Config select aces_1.0.3/config.ocio. It will set the sRGB and Render color space automatically.

Then in the image shader set the color space as follows:

• 8-bit sRGB color (e.g. jpg, png): auto or Utility - Texture - sRGB
• 32-bit linear color (e.g. exr): Utility - Linear - sRGB
• raw (e.g. displacement map, normal map, etc.): <disabled>
