What is the output folder?

What does show at the top of the Render Settings > Common tab?

It shows the same as my project folder. I attached the screenshot of the window. I really hope we can fix this problem. I'm really struggling to understand what is the error about.screenshot-2021-09-03-at-15929-am.png

Maya cannot create the file.

What else is logged in the script history?

I don't see the error in that output.
I think we'll see something before that error is printed.

Ok, let's try this: please get an Arnold log for a render.

Click Arnold > Open Arnold Render View, do this:

mtoa-arv-full-info-level-log.png

and then do a render in the Arnold Render View

screenshot-2021-09-03-at-110649-am.pngI couldn't find the log icon in arnold renderview. I made log full in view tab. After rendering I got this script editor.

Sequence rendering completed

// Warning: /SET/BACKGROUND/environment_geo/environment_geoShape: indexed user-data in companion array has out-of-bounds indices in map11idxs! (should be less than 0) -- disabling user-data 'map11' //

// Error: [driver_exr] defaultArnoldDriver@driver_exr.RGBA: can't create file ".exr": Could not open ".exr" (File output failed.) //

I could see the model in renderview from the beginning. But I'm getting the same error while I'm doing the render sequence.

I have to wonder if there's some non-ascii character, like a narrow space, in that path.

Try creating a test project in a folder that has no spaces.

Does that work?

We sometimes get this error in our scenes when we use multiple render drivers without paying attention to their naming. One solution that always worked in our case is this :

Go to AOVs tab in render settings, click "Delete All" this will delete all your AOVs, then go to File > Optimize Scene Size, make sure to check the box for "Rendering nodes", then click optimize. Now you can create your AOVs again and try to render this time.

If it still doesn't work, make sure there aren't extra render nodes or AOVs originating from a referenced scene file. In this case you'd have to do the same exercise in those referenced scene files without recreating the AOVs.

Hello
I know it's late but maybe this can help someone else.
In my case all the error was because I created the camera with the command Ctrl + shift + c. With this one, although if the camera was created, when I was going to export in png as a sequence, I got this error.
The solution was to create a camera from Create --> Camera. After that I was able to export the sequence
