For some reason, Arnold is unable to load the VDB in cinema 4d. Even after I chose a file for the Arnold volume it doesn't show anything. Some files are cloud packs from the internet and other vdb files are downloaded from the openvdb . Also, the volumes exported as vdb from cinema 4d itself don't work in Arnold volume. I tried to fix it and look for a solution on the internet but couldn't find any. This problem doesn't seem to occur with redshift and Vray. There are similar question in the Arnold community but couldn't find any particular solution for this problem.
Doesn't show anything where? In the viewport?
For render issues, check the Arnold log for messages about the volume
yeah, you were right. There is some problem with my volume. I checked the console it says: "/Arnold_Volume: shape has empty bounding box: (inf inf inf x -inf -inf -inf)". It says it could not get the size of the volume but the volume pack was downloaded from gumroad and have no issue when used with the built-in cinema 4d volume loader. Can you please help me how to fix this?
Hello!
We have the same problem with many VDB files, first how we can know which version supported by arnold, also where we can see the vdb version?
For example is possible to arnold wont support that pack ?: https://www.artstation.com/marketplace/p/yzL1/vdb-clouds-mega-bundle-3-in-1 but the most strange its, is possible to arnold dont support Embergen VDB exports? (Embergen Version 7.5.7)
Thank you very much!

It's possible VDBs generated by some other application are not compatible. In general, different versions of OpenVDB should be ok:
No release of OpenVDB guarantees ABI compatibility across the entire library, but rather only for the Grid and its constituent classes, and primarily to allow third-party app plugins compiled against different versions of the library to coexist and exchange data.
Arnold currently uses OpenVDB 7.1.1
It's listed in the header of the Arnold log:
00:00:00 46MB | log started Fri Aug 26 10:45:00 2022
00:00:00 46MB | Arnold 7.1.3.0 [abce70a9] darwin clang-10.0.1 oiio-2.4.1 osl-1.12.0 vdb-7.1.1 adlsdk-6.3.1.44 clmhub-2.0.0.235 rlm-14.1.3 2022/07/20 11:17:44
Thanks for your answer, the solution for this problem is to Update EmberGen to to latest version, there arnold should work correctly!!
