Houdini geo and ass with HoudiniEngine

hi,

i have Basic question.

some tutorials shows renderings on render-view on GUI.

it's works well on our local workstation.

but, i cannot export ass from Houdini geometry on deadline with HoudiniEngine.

even simple sphere.

or particles with shape (copy_to_point), very complex geo, and so on.

FailRenderException : ERROR | [htoa.session] Object /obj/sphere1/output0 has an error and cannot be exported:

thus i have export alembic and import alembic into Arnold-Procedural.

it works well.

but this work flow has extra time and disk space.

can i export houdini geo directly into Arnold with Houdini-Engine?

is using alembic and Arnold-Procedural popular way?

thanks

htoa

What is /obj/sphere1/output0 ?

For just a sphere, you would see this in the Arnold log:

[htoa.object.geometry] Generating /obj/sphere_object1

Can you set the log level to Debug?

thanks,

does output-node in geometry seems to brings this error?

when display flag set other node not output, the rendering work well.

output is very convenience in houdini, thus i offten use it in geometry.
