Clamped P AOV

Hi there,

I'm rendering a landscape and I get infinite numbers in the P AOV.

I know my landsacpe is huge.

The clamp happens at somewhere around 600k units. So I get values in R and B but "inf" in the G channel.

So my question is, Is the P AOV clamped at any value?

If so, is there anything I can do to NOT get clamped values in the P AOV?

Thanks!

are you rendering with half float render setting?

Yes. But rendering in complete float doesn't change anything, the clamp persists.

I see I can just change the units in the system tab of the render globals, which unclamp the position AOV.

But, that changes the 3D textures based on units in Arnold, like the aiNoise texture. In fact, I just need to multiply the scale attribute of those textures by 100.

Or is there any other workaround for that (may be an aoperator or something like that)?
