I inherited a file from KeyShot. The textures come in as node-based PBR's. They work at first but then somehow the links get broken and they all go black. In the end, I want to convert them to Arnold anyway. I can't seem to figure out how to do this. I've tried baking the textures out, but that doesn't work (everything writes out black). Is there a workflow for translating node-based C4d materials to Arnold shaders?
You can try Arnold > Utilities > Materials > Convert Selected C4D Material to Arnold Material, that works for the PBR and Standard material. But if you mean the Node Material, there's no conversion exists for them.
Yeah, they're node-based materials. At least I now know that I'm not missing something. Thanks.
