I am using the Light Group in the Arnold Properties modifier to include/exclude lights for specific meshes. In some cases I need to turn off specific lights that are in the include/exclude list. If I start a render after I turn off a light 3dsmax will crash. It doesn't crash when I turn off a light, even if Active Shade is rendering, it only happens when I start a new render. Is there a fix for this?
Same error/crash here.
Maybe set or animate the intensity of the light to 0.
