Reverting back from Arnold 7 in C4D adjusts gamma

I upgraded to C4DtoA-4.0.0.1-win-R21 to test out the new denoiser, but when I reverted back to C4DtoA-3.3.5-win-R21 the image color space is messed up. I've tried uninstalling completely and the lighting is only correct when Arnold 7 is installed. I can increase the gamma to 2.2 in post, but is there another setting to fix?.

Is this IPR or final render? Have you saved the scene while using C4DtoA 4 / Arnold 7?

Check the color manager settings, that could be it, specially in the IPR. If you don't see the color space combo box on the IPR toolbar, then click on View > Toolbar > Show color space list in the menu.

I had saved while using the Arnold 7 version. It appears in was only in the IPR, and your fix worked. The color space was set to blank. Thank you so much!

There are a few changes in color management in the new version. It's backward compatible, meaning C4DtoA v3 scenes and settings are updated automatically when loaded in the new version, but it does not work in the opposite way, when reverting back. So scenes saved in C4DtoA v4 might not work properly in v3 (for instance the default color manager does not exist in v3, etc.). The color space in the IPR is also one of the changes, the options are changed a bit.
