Rendering Animation - Time goes up

So, the first frame is 20 minutes, and 8 hours late, the frame now takes 1 hour. The scene doesn't change, meaning that I don't have more geometry appearing, but the camera is moving slowly. No, I can't render using Kick as I am using Forest Pack.

I am still rendering with Arnold 6, because Arnold 7 isn't supported yet by Forest Pack. What worries me a lot is that this is just a preview, the real animation takes 1 hour per frame. So please I really need a solution for this.

I will try to provide some logs later.

I wonder if you can repro the slowdown with a smaller forest? That would make it easier to get logs and do some testing.

Are you rendering on the command-line with 3dsmaxcmd?

Usually, if you export to ASS with Expand Procedurals, that should work (unless there's something wonky about Forest Pack, which could be possible, I seem to remember getting invalid ass files)

Thanks Stephen for the reply. I will do a couple of tests this weekend. I am opening 3ds Max and press render. I was afraid that the 3dsmaxcmd would case the same error of some of the assets not being fully supported.

So, if I export expand procedurals I could render ASS files? I didn't know that. There were a couple of time, where I forgot to instance the FP and got some error messages when I rendered later.
