Hi,
i'm currently trying to add dispalcement to a rocks simulation done in houdini and exported as an ass sequence to Maya with arnold 5.
I just read in the doc that displacement is handeled separately from the shader itself, so i can't just plug a displacement shader in maya to have displacement on my standin.
What can i do? Is this even possible?
I would realy try to avoid exporting an alembic file.

i would have the same question for Alembic procedurals (GPU Cache)
There are some override options built in, subdivison seams to work fine, but displacement does not seam to happen.
What do i do wrong? Please?
