I'm pulling in voronoi-shattered geometry from Houdini to Maya. Geo is baked to alembic and has attributes:
- string name
- int cellid
Geo comes into maya as aiStandIn.
How can I use any of these attrs (name?) to set arnold "sss_setname" per piece ?
Did you try setting sss_setname on the primitives in the alembic? eg s@sss_setname = whatever
Otherwise, operators can set sss_setname on the polymesh nodes created by an aiStandin procedural
