I got a new gpu and now when i render my scene doing render sequence does it a few frames then i get the error no GPU matching requirements found for GPU-rendering. I've tried to solve by having the newest drivers but nothing works. I've notice that the error happens because the gpu memory keeps going up each frame and then it runs out but it worked fine with my other gpu rendering the scene.
mayaRenderLog.txt
There's a recent GPU memory leak in Arnold (maybe just arnold 7.0.0?) that users have been reporting. Every frame rendered seems to leak gpu memory. Once your GPU has too little memory available it will no longer be used. It's something we definitely want to fix once we can reproduce it on our end!
I'm curious about your statement that it works with the other GPU. Was that tested using the same version of arnold? Are those two GPUs in the machine at the same time? Did you not see the memory increasing with the other GPU? If so, it sounds like this could be due to the type of GPU? What is the GPU that works and which didn't?
Doesn't look like there was much memory available to start with. At the very top of the mayaRenderLog I see this:
00:00:01 1253MB | GPU 0: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 @ 1815MHz (compute 8.6) with 8192MB (413MB available) (NVLink:0)
The Arnold log verbosity is too low to tell when the renders were done on the same day as that (Render Settings > Diagnostics > Log Verbosity)
My other GPU was a 1070 but i think that might have been on an older version of anrold at the time. No i wasn't using both at the same time.
I think im just getting a memory leak like you said, should i roll back to an older version before 7.0.0
