Render errors. Access violation.

1738456640.txt 1738456650.txt Any specific reasons why these renders fail?

Nan and inf values shouldn't be an issue, since scene renders fine in Maya with "Abort on error" flag disabled.

For some reason farm renders only half of the render layers correctly. Other half get the same "C0000005 access violation" errors.1738456638.txt1738456636.txt

access violation errors are generic errors. It could be anything. And given that you are rendering with abort on error disabled, and there's all kinds of warnings about different things, like Nans or Infs, it really could be anything.

The NaN and INF messages are just warnings, not errors. So what other errors were stopping the render?

Hey,

I also get a access violation message when batch rendering a scene I am working on right now. In the log it says:

00:00:35 3624MB ERROR | [mtoa] Setting camera camera_shot03 failed

00:00:35 3625MB ERROR | signal caught: error C0000005 -- access violation

The scene is a simple street setup, a lot of arnold instances (trees), lit with a hdri. I can render everything fine in the Arnold Render View, scrub through the timeline and everything updates as it should. When I batch render, it renders out one frame and then stops with the ERROR messages. I rebuilt the scene, imported assets one by one and get that error message again in the fresh scene.

I broke the scene down by hiding everything in the outliner and started blending in grouped objects successively (all standins, street geometry, roadside props e.g.)

Right now the scene behaves strange:

- Rendering only the street geometry: renders fine

- Rendering only the instanced trees: renders fine

- Rendering street and instanced trees together stops and results in the error messages above after one frame.

I don't know why the log is spitting out the "[mtoa] Setting camera camera_shot03 failed" message and what it has to do with the arnold standins/scene geometry. Maybe someone can give a hint?

It also get the signal caught: error C0000005 -- access violation when rendering with the perspective cam.

Heya, I know this is really old, I'm having the same issue and I've traced it down to the use of a MASH ID node being used, I don't know the workaround but this is probably the issue.
