Update Arnold to 5 or more shows problem with multiscatter

Hello.

Before update Arnold to 5 Multiscatter in 3Ds Max 2021 not showing error while opening the program, but when I update to Arnold 5 (any version) when I start the program it shows an error: MultiScatterArnold.dlo failed to initialize

I don't now if this affect something but after several updates in Arnold the error is not disappearing.

Have you notice that?

I used Multiscatter 1.623 but with the version 1.618 is the same and 3Ds Max 2021.3

I hope in new update try to fix or verify this error.

Is this a new version of MultiScatter? All Arnold plugins have to be recompiled to work with MAXtoA 5.

In other words, if this MultiScatter works with MAXtoA 4, then it won't work with MAXtoA 5. A new version of Multiscatter is required.

Would you be kind to explain in simple way what is the difference (I understand is a complicated question but to know a little) between Arnold 4 and 5 in this scenario with older plugins?

MAXtoA includes significant changes, changes that make it incompatible with older versions of Multiscatter.
A more technical explanation is that Multiscatter uses the Arnold API
The newer Arnold changed the Arnold API so much that a new version of Multiscatter is needed.
