Converting particles .bin from command line to .ass?

Hi all.

As title i need to converting particles .bin from command line. There is a wayto do that? I don't want to import particles inside maya and export to .ass. And there is channel visualization on ass in viewport?

Thanks

Dario

Not with MtoA.

You'd need some procedural that reads bin files, and I assume that RealFlow provides one. So, create an ASS file with that procedural and then kick ass with forceexpand.

Arnold doesn't read particle data. Somebody has to write a custom procedural that reads the particle data and creates an Arnold points node. Or you write a plugin for some software like Maya, which reads the scene data with the Maya api and writes out an Arnold points node with the Arnold sdk.
