I ask for ainormalmap problem!

In aiStandardSurface, we connected the normal map using the aiNormalMap utility.

The problem is that the backface is not rendered when using aiNormalMap.

When bump2d is used, it is rendered normally.

Do you know the solution to this problem?

What is backface?

What the backface means is that it refers to the back side of an object with no thickness.

I'm sorry I can not speak English well.

Maybe the Two Sided shader would help?

Thank you for answer. However, even with a twosided shader, the result was the same. (Not resolved) I attach a picture here to help you understand.

Have you got "Export Tangents" enabled in the shape Arnold options?

I encountered this problem aswell. The solution to it, was to flip the "z" channel of my normal map that is applied to the backside
