Material Presets for MtoA

ai-standard-wip.jpgThe Arnold documentation for materials says that the presets should come included in the aiStandard but when I click on preset there is nothing there. It only says save or edit preset. I also imported the Surface_Standard maya file included in the documentation but it doesn't import the material, it's just a bunch of weird icons in the hypershade.

Make sure you have arnold latest version installed properly.

I am using Maya 2017, Arnold 5 comes bundled with it

Try installing the latest version here or maybe deleting your Prefs will fix it.

Hey, you are using an aiStandard and aiStandards are for Arnold 4. You need an aiStandard Surface and that should have your preset.
