melanin ignoring color management ...sometimes.

Hello

We are having a strange issue with the aiStandardHair shader on our farm.

We are using an OCIO colour bundle with Maya colour management enabled. whne using the aiStandardSurface shader and with the camera image plane we can render in the Arnold Render View, batch render on the farm and view in Nuke and all colours look the same.

When we use the StandardHair shader with melanin non zero the colours match when rendering locally, but not when they come off the farm. Why might this be? I realise there are a lot of possible reasons but everything with a colour swatch in the attribute editor seems to be fine, but the melanin does not have this - is there some reason why it might be read by workstations but not by distributed render nodes?

Many thanks for any thoughts

Dave

Just to add that we are not using any textures with the hair in this test - just the shader node and nothing else added.

Is it only when you use the OCIO color bundle that you see a difference?

Also, I'd get Arnold logs from the local machine and a render node and compare them, just to be sure that everything is the same.
