Concentrate indirect sampling

1150-noise.png

Hello, i would like to know if it's possible to reduce the noise from indirect lighting in a specific area of a scene (poorly lit) without having to increase the whole scene indirect parameters. (A bit like a portal light without skydome)

There are only 3 area-lights in the scene, and i've add a fourth to relight the eyes, but the indirect lighting still produces a lot of noise there.

I guess I could set the indirect lighting of the eye material to 0 but i'd miss the nice shadows. (I can't emit them from the "relight area-light" which is parented to the head)

The plan is to remain under the minute or so in terms of rendering time.

Thanks for the help !

Aren't they light samples on the eyes? Can you check the AOVs to make sure?
