help AETemplate Osl Noise

Hello
need your help please
How to add other modes such as: "perlin - cell - hash - simplex - gabor".
so that I can choose the appropriate one.

but I'm not getting the others type of noise.

We got a dropdown for it in 3ds max, it looks like the "type" is a traditional string field.
Try erase "uperlin" and write for example "simplex" instead.

Yeah at any time I can erase and change the type, but I want that dropdown list, like 3dsmax

Pick up a conversation with the Maya OSL programmer that is responsible, he can clear out where on the to-do lists this requests is. It may be a ticket on the UI team instead, if dropdown is something that needs to be implemented first, before it can happen.

finally I managed to find the solution by looking at arnold ae script and do the same
