Hi all,
I'm trying to kick off an HtoA render via deadline, and after exporting my .ass files I am getting a out-of-range normal index error. The weird thing is that I can render locally no problem and the frames are correct and fine. I'm trying to render a meshed fluid with a simple arnold shader on it.
To attempt to solve this I allow-listed my own machine and set the arnold .kick path to the one in my HtoA folder, still no luck through deadline.
Any ideas one why this would be?
Thanks!

Is it the same version of Arnold on the farm and on the local machine? Do you get any errors or warnings when you render locally?
@Julian Hodgson Correct, same version - and it's even using the exact same kick on my local machine so I'm not sure what is going on. No errors or warnings at all rendering locally.
Is it the same ass file too?
I would get logs from both machines and compare them.
And if the ass files are not the same, then I would compare those too.
Sorry for the delayed response, found a workaround temporarily but would like to circle back to what is happening I've attached the local log and the deadline log.
It's an alembic being read in, unpacked, and converted in Houdini. The assfile is generated locally on the same computer so they should be the same, I'm not sure where to find the temp ass file when I render straight from Houdini.
When I exported my deadline assfiles with non-binary data it rendered no problem on deadline.
