Arnold Educational Batch Render - yes this question again.

I know this question has been asked many times on this forum, but one thing about autodesk provided licenses has not been touched on ( as far as I can see)

I've got my Arnold Licenses from Autodesk. I've generated a network license, added them to the Autodesk license server. They are there, active and broadcasting.

I've created the appropriate environmental variables on all machines involved: The workstation(s), the backburner manager, all backburner servers. FYI all machines are exactly the same, win10 with maya 2018 and MtoA plugin installed.

I have 3000 network licenses for both Maya and Arnold.

One thing that is a source of confusion for me:

When using the Autodesk software/license portal you're able to request licenses for software. Generate network licenses for that software and also (of course) download the software.

The software available for Arnold licenses from Autodesk is "Arnold SDK 2018"

The Arnold MtoA plugin is installed when Maya 2018 is installed - although it can be downloaded separately.

My question is: What Arnold "flavor" needs to be installed when trying to batch render using the educational license scenario?

Arnold SDK is just a zip file with no installer. If I'm to use these files in a network batch render, where do I place them? or is the MtoA plugin used in a batch render (Does MtoA request an Arnold license when used in a network batch render?)

I'm just not sure if I use Arnold SDK or Arnold MtoA in a network batch scenario where Arnold licenses must be checked out from an Autodesk License Server

-edit: I see that SDK is used by developers..so it seems that isn't used in my scenario

I found this on the solidangle site

https://support.solidangle.com/display/A5AILIC/kick+ass+and+check+Arnold+Log

Maybe this can help to troubleshoot?
