Rendering Maya Fluids

We are trying to solve a problem regarding rendering fires created using Maya Fluid system in Arnold 5. The issue; some of them render nicely and some doesn´t render at all. Some of the fires a new and some are copied (preset) from older scenes. I have been testing with Skydome and Psky for lightning. I have compared the settings up and down - but apparently missing something here? Any theories?

Yes, some work better than others. Which ones, in particular, aren't working? You may need to adjust the Shading of the Fluid. Can you provide images?

Ok, so I went for a new tour on all attributes and noticed that Dropoff Shape under Shading (Transperacy)al of a sudden made a difference; Y-gradient doesn´t render but cube does..
