Hi, I am following a tutorial, which suggest that I render an AOV file as a multilayer file, 32 bit, well, I did, and the file was not multilayer; I opened it with read options, as transparency, and alpha , and neither time, did the file open as a multilayer file; can someone please tell me their thoughts as to the best option? I know that the 32 is richer than 8, when using physical render, I always used PSD for MP, and it looked fine at 8, but 32, or even 16 is superior color-also,when I have rendered an Arnold file with AOVs, unlike MP where the alphas are in the channel manager, the AOVs are in the layer manager, so this is typical of the format,? thank you

If you are using photoshop you need a plugin-in like ProEXR or Exr-IO to view the AOV's.
BTW, can someone please explain a typical workflow, or where i can find this info, when I open a multilayer file ( the exr plugin works, thx!) , is it recommended to start/use the linear-dodge/add layer mode, and hide the alphas, in order to see my layers, and just experiment with different looks ,? thank you
