aov_write_color and aov_write_Rgba

is there any difference between aov_write_color and aov_write_Rgba ?
Both have the same parameters

aov_write_rgba has alpha input.

I can't see the attribute input Alpha in aiWriteColorRgba, until I expose it via an XML file, because by default it look exactly the same as aiWriteColor, it will be great if we can see the difference, anyway thank you Lee for the clarifications
