I have a scene which renders as expected when motion blur is not activated on the C4DtoA Main Settings page. When I activate it, the IPR still renders fine but the final render is blown out. I've tried lots of things to find the route of the problem, including merging everything into a new scene so I have a blank slate for my render settings but can't get to the bottom of it. Any ideas?
Hard to tell, could be a bug somewhere. I wonder how the render looks like when exporting the scene to an ASS file and running with kick. If you can send me a repro scene, I'd take a look.
Thanks Peter. I've just tried the same scene on a Windows box instead of Mac and it's not happening there. If I get to the bottom of it, I'll report back here
Hi again @Peter Horvath. Haven't gotten to the bottom of it but here's another motion blur bug with my Mac that isn't happening on Windows. Strange that it's still motion blur that is the problem but a completely different outcome. It must be peculiar to my setup as there would be many reports of this so I'll dig deeper, deactivate other plug-ins etc. I have a bit more time than I did last time.
Problem solved.
Peter found it was all caused by an outdated copy of Greyscale Gorilla HDRI Link on the Mac. Updated now and all is working well. Thanks Peter.
