Car Paint.

It's been a long time when i'm start to create a decent car shader as metalic. I even use aLsurface, follow the tutorials and i have what i can see on the tutorials but no decent and realistic car paint. With the new arnold shader the coat help a lot but is no real. The flakes appear strange and tricky to setting, complicated. It would be great to have a complete tutorial layering a car paint shader, with physical appearance and not a far approximation. i'm so frustrated about the results.

Are you using the Studio Automotive Rendering tutorial? Another helpful one is the Flakes Example shading tutorial. To help get the look you're after it would be good if you could upload some image examples of both the shaders you're struggling with and the ones you've had success with in the past so others can offer more advice.

Thank you Ben. I'm folloow these tutorials and a lot of others. The flakes tutorial talk about connect to coat normal, like alShader(alSurface). I any mode i set i don't get a good result. And also the intensity i need to set the IOR to increase the flakes intensity? This is because the flakes is low intensity, ot like the flakes tutorials on solid angle page.

I'm happy to see and use the new carPaint on arnold. This is great. Thanks
