how to pass custom attributes to stand in?

Hey!

we designed a shader that picks a mtoa_custom_float from the shapes of thousands of objects and use the value to drive the base color of the shader, and it works fine. Problem is that when we convert the geometry to a standin the custom attribute get lost and the shader cannot pick the info...is there any way we can export the attribute with the standin?

cheers

mtoa_constant attributes are exported. Check the exported ass file, you'll see the attribute declared on the shape.
