How can I convert Maya legacy shaders (Phong, Blinn etc.) to MtoA?

A shader conversion script exists here. Once converted to a Standard shader, you will have the option to convert that shader into a Standard Surface shader in the attribute editor.

can you help me out when i convert every thing from blinn to ai standard coat seems to be on full intensity on every shader why is this happening any way to prevent this?? i need to convert a large number of assets and fixing every thing manually is gonna take time...... any suggestions are welcome 🙂

This is an old old question, there are more recent ones.

You don't just need to select a menu option.
