It's possible to make multi-layer EXR without RGBA channel

Hello everyone, i'm new in Arnold, i was working my multi-layer EXR with mental ray long time ago. So, all passes was in a EXR without RGBA. i don't know why made this but since i work like that and it's to easy to me for compositing.

How to do that in arnold? it's possible make this, layers without RGBA?

Its too easy. You can go through the tutorial of custom aov making.

You can save the EXR without saving the beauty pass simply by excluding it from your driver. However, the beauty pass must still render.

If you're just passing a matte, then you can set up your overrides such that everything renders either a flat black, or is excluded. But if you're passing a shaded channel (diff, spec, sss, ect) then there's no way around it.

Cheese and crackers! That's a LOT of panels.

This is why I haven't used Maya since college, and so unfortunately I don't have Maya in front of me. Sorry.
