Normal Map to Triplanar

Is there any way to use a normal map with a triplanar projection in Arnold for Maya?

I have tried unsuccessfully so far.

Thank you in advance!

Mauro

Can you be more specific as to your setup and what's not working about it? You should be able to use Image -> Triplanar -> Normal Map -> Standard.

Hi Tim,

The thing is for some reason the connection was creating a bump2d node (which with Maya is completely normal) and that node did not accept the triplanar as a direct connection to the bump value.

Basically I was trying in ways that are not "Arnold compatible".

I have received an answer from an Autodesk Support Team person, Nelson Cruz, who showed me it was much more simple than I thought it was.
