Hi,
I have a scene of dust simulation which is going toward the camera.
I am only rendering the dust, nothing more, and this passes:
Volume_Opacity
Volume
Shadow_matte
The camera is positioned close to the floor, so the container is almost covering the entire layout of the camera.
When I render the sequence Arnold get rendering zones that are black, has no density at all, but still is taking to much time for those parts to render.
This places are the empty space of the container which has no density or info, but still... I have double check all the passes and no one is giving me anything.
Would like to know if there is any way to avoid rendering this parts of the volume and save some time.
Appreciated. Cheers
You render an OpenVDB sequence, right? Could you please send us a scene to be able to reproduce the issue? One frame should be enough where the render is slow in the empty areas.
