Can't figure out why is the polymesh volume displacement not working. I've tried the tutorial by Mr. @Lee Griggs but I am missing something. I also tried the thread by @louismarkoya. Can anybody help me out please?

Your workflow is fine. I don't have your texture, but check your range shader, I'm not sure those settings are ok. The displacement is length unit dependent, so you might want to scale the output down (Output max to 0.1 for instance).

Thanks for the reply. I tried many values for the Output max in Range shader. But it looks nothing like Lee Griggs tutorial. I've also tried various textures. Maybe it needs a specific kind of texture. I am at a loss in understanding this.

I can't render your scene without your texture maps. Did you try this scene from the tutorial? Can you post your rendered results so that we can see what you are getting. Can you also explain what look you want to achieve?

@Lee Griggs
Thanks for the reply sir. I have attached the texture map now. I tried the tutorial but unfortunately couldn't figure out what was wrong in my setup. Maybe it was the texture map.

Could you please tell what kind of texture map is needed?
