Arnold 5.2.0.0 SDK Sheen Bug

It appears sheen will not render through the Standard Surface Shader, is there any extra setup necessary to have this render? It works in Maya, but will not render from the SDK.

So if you export an ASS file from Maya, it doesn't work? Please post a repro.

It's for the plugin I'm developing for Arnold to work in Blender, set up the same as all the other standard surface parameters, and exported the ASS file from Blender and imported into Maya, and appears Sheen is not working that way either.

Please post an ass file

There's no extra setup required, you just adjust the sheen parameters. I can see a change in the render in Maya by changing Sheen intensity

standard_surface.sheen is not set, so the sheen weight defaults to 0

kick -info standard_surface.sheen
node: standard_surface param: sheen type: FLOAT default: 0

Try with standard_surface.sheen 1

Sheen? The docs only stated `sheen_weight` `sheen_color` and `sheen_roughness`

Does `sheen_weight` need to be changed to `sheen`? Which would make more sense, being consistent with the rest of the parameters for standard_surface

@Stephen Blair can confirm changing `sheen_weight` to `sheen` worked, not entirely sure what the purpose of `sheen_weight` is though. Maybe update the docs? Thanks for your help Stephen.

kick -info standard_surface is the definitive reference for built-in parameters
